Kaugel Hydro Project
Immerse in the electrifying progress of the Kaugel Hydro Project! With a commanding output of 114 MW, Bismarck Energy is at the core of its development. Following the issuance of an Environmental Permit from Conservation Environment Protection Authority (CEPA), and completion of field development studies, Bismarck Energy is now embarking on drafting construction plans. Bismarck Energy has set a national historical milestone – 1,600 meters of geotechnical drilling in 16 holes.

Kaugel Hydro Topographic survey was conducted utilizing a DJI M300 RTK Drone mounted with a Lidar Scanner system. The survey was done on multiple flights with coverage extending an additional 20m-50m outside the requested 100m corridor width.
Pongema Hydro Project
Committed by the Papua New Guinea government under the Porgera Mine Memorandum of Agreement, the Pongema Hydro project was transitioned to Bismarck Energy under a public-private-partnership. We have invested in the feasibility of constructing this 7.5 MW hydro project.
